Bi-PA is developing and registering the innovative biological insecticide Sero-X from Innovate AG (Goondiwindi, QLD, Australia).
Sero-X is a natural extract from the Butterfly Pea (Clitoria ternatea), a widespread tropical legume that is cultivated for a wide range of uses, from the stable pasture for cattle to the preparation of medicinal extracts from various folk medicines.
Sero-X is active against several pests currently controlled by neonicotinoids, including thrips and whiteflies. Furthermore, the outcome of the first tests indicate that it is safe to beneficials.
Sero-X is currently registered and commercialized on cotton and several other crops in Australia. Our goal is to provide this safe, harmless alternative to the farmers worldwide on many other crops!
